Course Profile: Common Induction Standards for Managers (1-3 Days)
The CIS are mapped to the GSCC code of practice for social care workers, which describes the standards of professional conduct and practice required of social care workers as they go about their daily work. Leading an induction is a demanding role for managers; requiring them to act as leader, teacher, mentor, assessor, Supervisor and supporter. This course aims to provide them with the knowledge and skills required to do this effectively and promote their confidence in the role.

The course is designed for managers and senior staff who are responsible for inducting new workers into the Common Induction Standards.
The course will assist organisations deliver CQC Outcome 14.
