Equality & Diversity for Managers
This is an area that is often leads to resentment, conflict and
occasionally in employment disputes. For Managers, the task of working in an
Equalities framework can be very daunting and litigious publicity can add to
them perceiving Equalities as the “enemy” rather than a framework to aid in
the development of an anti-oppressive culture.
This one day course aims to provide Managers with a clear understanding of
their responsibilities regarding Equality & Diversity and to prepare
them better for challenges as well as the active promotion of Diversity so
that services are enriched.
This course is only suitable for those who have completed a basic Equalities
