Health & Safety Risk Assessment

This course is aimed at any manager or supervisor who has a responsibility for carrying out Health & Safety Risk Assessments. It is also designed for any member of staff who has responsibility for whole or part of a building. The course aims to be interactive and provide an enjoyable and practical approach to Health & Safety matters.

• The need to carry out Inspections.
• How to identify workplace hazards.
• How to calculate risk in a practical and pragmatic manner.
• The organisation’s risk assessment form and procedure for completing it.
• How to prioritise what to do next.
• The importance of monitoring.
• How to investigate an Accident.
• How to carry out an Accident Investigation and draw suitable conclusions which may prevent the accident happening again.
