Receiving Supervision (1 day)

The implementation of Supervision can be extremely inconsistent and this can have a major impact on individual workers, teams and the quality of the service being offered. In order to establish a sound and consistent model Supervisors require a clear policy, model and training. Likewise, Supervisees need to understand the process so that they are able to take on a proactive role within it.

This course aims to help learners understand the role and function of Supervision and what is expected of them in the process. They will examine the various elements of the meeting, how to prepare for it and how to meet their professional needs through it.
