An Introduction to Supporting People
Supporting People is a government programme aimed at support
services and is increasingly making its presence felt. However, many
workers, especially front line staff, are unsure about its nature, objectives
and implications. This course aims to explain what exactly Supporting People
is, what its aims are, and the implications of these on service delivery.
This will include familiarising with the legislative framework.
